Lesson text (adapted from Online Program):

By now you should have an understanding of Emotional Freedom Techniques. As you know, EFT tapping can be used to overcome many issues, so let’s move on to one of our favourites, and the main focus of Peta’s groundbreaking research – tapping on a food craving.

This session is particularly useful if you:

(a) Find non-hungry food cravings a challenge
(b) Have particular food or foods that are a challenge for you
(c) Have particular cues (e.g., time, place, or person) that elicit desires for a certain food

Before you start the video you will need to have a food which you crave or desire and would like to decrease your craving or desire to eat (for example a cake, cookie, or chocolate) as well as a notepad to write down any notes that may be relevant for your tapping practice. Happy Tapping!

Remember, tapping is a process that helps you overcome unwanted thoughts, feelings, and behaviours over time, so you can always refer back to this video if you need to, to enhance your long-term success! Feel free to tap away on this issue, regularly or whenever it arises, over the next few weeks. The more you tap now, the more beneficial and lasting results you will gain into the future!
